WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO MEET TUESDAY
The Washington County Commissioners will have several topics of discussion for their next meeting coming up on Tuesday morning.
The Commissioners are scheduled to discuss and act upon the approval of an interlocal agreement between Washington County E911 and the Lower Colorado River Authority for increased radio operability coverage to improve the safety of first responders.
They will also discuss and act upon the approval to select engineering and architectural service providers and to allow the County Judge to enter negotiations regarding terms, cost, and project details to complete project implementation of the EMS District 6 Response Station that will be located on Federal property near Lake Somerville Marina.
Other agenda items include:
A request for proposals on the jail security fence for the Washington County Sheriff’s Office
To direct the Washington County Auditor’s Office to conduct an audit of the 21st Judicial District Attorney’s Office Seizure and Forfeiture accounts
And the approval of the trade in of six Sauer duty weapons for the Constables Office’s and for the Precinct One Constable to accept donations for the purchase of replacement duty weapons.
The Washington County Commissioners Court meets Tuesday at 9am in their Chambers at the Washington County Courthouse.
