BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDS TO TWO CALLS ON FRIDAY

  

The Brenham Fire Department responded to a pair of late afternoon calls on Friday.

Firefighters were dispatched to the 2500 Block of South Day Street at 4:35pm for a report of a dog inside a vehicle that was not running.

A BFD unit arrived at the location to find that the dog was not in any harm. Also, the vehicle’s owner had arrived at the same time.

Firefighters returned to service.

Then, just before 5:30pm, the Brenham Fire Department was dispatched to a traffic accident at the 2100 block of Highway 290 West.

Firefighters found a two-vehicle accident, but both vehicles had been moved to a nearby parking lot.

BFD members checked for any fluids that might be leaking, but found nothing, so they returned to service.
