CALDWELL, GIDDINGS, NAVASOTA SCHOOLS CELEBRATE HOMECOMING
Several area high schools celebrated homecoming on Friday.
Caldwell High School’s new Homecoming Queen and King are Izzy Burlin and Jeffry Tobias.
The Caldwell Hornets defeated the Smithville Tigers, 49-24.
Giddings High School also crowned a new Homecoming Queen, as Kelby Cowen received the honor.
The Giddings Buffaloes fell to the Rockdale Tigers, 26-21.
Meanwhile, Tiara McCoy was named Navasota High School’s Homecoming Queen.
The Navasota Rattlers were victorious over the Waco Lions, 34-12.
