A&M CONSOLIDATED RALLIES TO BEAT LADY PANTHERS 47-41
The game may not have originally been on the schedule, but it turned out to be a big night for the Burton Lady Panthers as they almost pulled off the upset over the A&M Consolidated. However, it was the Lady Tigers that rallied to get the 47-41 win on Tuesday night.
Burton struck first, and led the game 15-12 at the end of the first quarter.
A&M Consolidated start their rally in the second quarter winning it 11-8, and sending the game to tie the locker room at 23-23.
After the break, the Lady Tigers took control of the game, and outscored the Lady Panthers 12-8 in the third quarter, and 12-10 in the fourth quarter to escape the Burton High School Gym with the win.
Laci and Lexi Broesche led Burton by scoring 11 points each. The Lady Panthers return to district play Friday night when they travel to Snook for a 6:15pm game.
