KWHI TO HOST CANDIDATES FORUM APRIL 7 FOR BRENHAM CITY COUNCIL, BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD RACES

  

KWHI has scheduled a Candidates Forum for the contested races in the Brenham City Council and Brenham School Board elections coming up on May 3rd.

Candidates in the March 2024 primary election
speak at the KWHI Candidates Forum on February 7,
2024 at Brenham National Bank.

The forum will be held on Monday, April 7th at 5:30 p.m. at Brenham National Bank.

Each of the four candidates for Brenham City Council and the six running for Brenham School Board have been invited to participate in the forum.

On the Brenham City Council, Ward 1 incumbent Shannan Canales will face Steve Soman.  Position 6 At-Large incumbent Leah Cook is challenged by Alan Lehmann.

For the Brenham School Board, the Position 5 seat of Tommie Sullivan, who is not running for re-election, is sought by David Jantzi and Shawn Koonce.  Mike Garner and Justin Colley are running for the Position 6 seat of Natalie Lange, who also did not file for re-election.  Position 7 incumbent Jared Krenek is opposed by Walt Edmunds. 

Candidates will take questions from the audience, news media and emails sent to mail@kwhi.com
