CALLS FOR ACCIDENT, FIRE ALARM EARLY TUESDAY FOR BRENHAM FD

The Brenham Fire Department responded to two calls early this (Tuesday) morning.

Approaching 1:15 a.m., units were called out to a home in the 900 block of Davy Street for a fire alarm sounding.  Nothing was showing from the exterior of the building when they arrived, and they found no smoke or fire, so the alarm was reset.

Shortly after 2 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to a report of a transportation incident at Highway 290 West and Highway 36 North.  They made location to find a single-vehicle accident with no one hurt.  After checking for fluids leaking and finding none, they returned to service.
