BURLESON COUNTY TRAFFIC STOP LEDS TO MULTIPLE CHARGES FOR MOTORIST
A traffic stop just outside of Caldwell lead to a woman being arrested on multiple charges.
On Wednesday night at 10pm, the Burleson County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit stopped a box truck on Highway 21 at County Road 108 just outside of Caldwell due to a license plate outage.
The deputy made contact with the driver, Stacy Bell, who admitted to having marijuana in the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle was conducted. The Sheriff’s Office located a large bag of marijuana, $1,900 in cash, and two firearms.
Bell was arrested for Possession of Marijuana Great than 2 ounces, and for Unlawful Carry of a Weapon She was taken to the Burleson County Jail in Caldwell.
