23RD ANNUAL FRUEHLING SAENGERFEST COMING TO BELLVILLE

  

The Bellville Lions Club and the Bluebonnet Chapter of the Texas German Society are getting ready to host their 23rrd annual Fruehling Saengerfest later this month.

The German Spring Singing Festival is being held on Sunday, April 26, at the Concordia Hall in Bellville.

The festival features plenty of German music and German food.

It all starts at 11am with a barbecue chicken and sausage dinner. Tickets are $15 each, and they do have plates to go as well.

The plates to go are being served at the Austin County Building at 800 East Wendt Street.

The Lions Club is going to be selling sausage and sauerkraut, plus homemade desserts.

Musical entertainment will be provided by the Bellville High School Polka Band, the Concordia Gesang Verein, the Houston Kiederkranz, and the Dujka Brothers.

There is also going to be activities for the kids, vendors of German and handmade crafts, a cake walk, a bounce haus, a cornhole tournament, and a Strong-Arm Contest.
