“A Christmas Story” premieres tonight (Thursday), playing on the Main Stage through December 22nd.  Based on the novel by Jean Shepherd, the comedy by Philip Grecian follows 9-year-old Ralphie Parker in his quest to get a genuine Red Ryder BB gun for Christmas.

The production will be directed by Tom Prior, most recently seen as Atticus Finch in Unity’s production of “To Kill A Mockingbird”.

Unity Theatre General Manager Lisa Thomas says the story is a family-friendly tale that’s perfect for the holidays.
