BRENHAM GAMECHANGERS RAISING FUNDS FOR LOCAL YOUTH THROUGH “PURSE BINGO” THURSDAY
A unique fundraiser is set for next week at the Fireman’s Training Center in Brenham.
Brenham GameChangers will host the 2nd Annual “Purse Bingo” on Thursday, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served at 6 p.m., and bingo games will start at 7 p.m.
Brenham GameChangers Board President Heather Thielemann said all kinds of designer purses will be up for grabs in the bingo games.
Everyone in attendance will receive a book of bingo tickets to play ten rounds of bingo, with an option to purchase additional books to increase the chances of winning.
Thielemann said the GameChangers fundraiser will benefit Pre-K through 12th graders, raising money for local youth activities and scholarships, and supporting character education in the community.
