BURTON ISD TO HOLD BUDGET WORKSHOP THURSDAY
The Burton School Board will meet Thursday afternoon for a budget workshop.
Board members will convene at 5:30 p.m. to hold the workshop, followed by executive session where they will discuss district safety and security.
Last year’s operating budget was roughly $5,500,000, with a tax rate of $1.17 per $100 valuation, for around 450 students in the Burton school district.
The public is welcome to attend Thursday’s meeting, at the Administration Office on 701 North Railroad Street in Burton.
