NEXT WEEK: REGION CHAMPIONSHIP, CALLALLEN vs. BOERNE CHAMPION, TBA
Very proud of these boys & the way they represented our community. It’s a great day to be a Cub!!
I could not be more proud of the 2019 Brenham Cub football team!!! That includes players, coaches, athletic trainers, and managers. Their athleticism, competitive spirit, never say die attitude, and the CLASSY manner in which they represented our great community are second to none!!! To me they are all champions!!!
Especially to the seniors that are part of this program – they started this journey 6 years ago and in the 7th and 8th grade won a total of 3 games. Then, in their last 2 years, advanced to the regional sem-finals (3rd round) twice AND won the first district championship since 2013. Perseverance at its finest!! Plus you have made a lifetime of memories along the way!!
