COOL WEATHER EXPECTED FOR “COOL NIGHTS, HOT TUNES”

This past week has definitely been on the warmer side; however, weather should cool off just in time tonight (Saturday) for “Cool Nights, Hot Tunes” in downtown Brenham.

From 7 to 10 p.m., the popular Austin band “Suede” will be performing for fans on the corner of Alamo and Baylor Streets.  Just like the summer concert series, families are invited to bring their lawn chairs and blankets out and enjoy the free music.

Food and drink vendors will be available, as well as the beer booth.  Proceeds from the beer booth go to Main Street Brenham to help with downtown projects.

Sponsors of the event are J & A Roofing, Brenham National Bank, Hermann Furniture, and the Texas Arts and Music Festival.

For more information, go online to the Downtown Brenham Facebook page, or www.downtownbrenham.com.

KTEX-106’s Cactus Ken Murray will be emceeing tonight’s concert.
