CUBS’ COACH EXCITED AFTER FIRST WEEK OF WORKOUTS
The Brenham Cubs continue to get ready for the 2018 football season—their first under new head coach Elliot Allen.
Coach Allen, appearing on last night’s Brenham Sports Line, says he’s really excited about how things went during the first week of workouts…
Allen says he was particularly happy with the conditioning of the players when they began workouts…
The Cubs will get their first scrimmage action this Friday night at 6:00 when they travel to Cy Park.
Allen says this will be his staff’s first chance to evaluate the Cubs in a competitive situation…
The Cubs will scrimmage Northbrook next Friday, at Cubs Stadium at 6:00, then the following Friday will be the season opener at home against Magnolia West.
This year's 'Meet the Cubs' night is set for next Wednesday (8/22) at 7:00 p.m. at Cubs Stadium.
