ELLIOTT OFF TO CABO DURING HOLD OUT

Ezekiel Elliott continues his hold out for a new contract with the Dallas Cowboys and has yet to show up to training camp in Oxnard, California.

He isn’t waiting around in Dallas for his team to strike a new deal with the organization, either.

Instead, Elliott is in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, to train at his agent’s property.

According to the NFL Network, Zeke is headed to Cabo to train while the Cowboys and his management team continue to work on his contract.

Elliott reportedly did the same during his suspension.
The Cowboys apparently didn’t take the news of the trip very well, and say they are still committed to getting the running back to training camp in Southern California as soon as possible.

With Elliot holding out, the Cowboys have confirmed they have re-signed veteran Alfred Morris.

Morris played for the Cowboys in 2016-17 and was with the San Francisco 49ers last season.  He took over as the starter during Elliott's suspension in 2017, including a 127-rushing yard effort.  In his two seasons with Dallas, Morris had 790 yards and three touchdowns on 184 carries.
