Brenham ISD Summer Meals for Children

This summer, Brenham ISD will connect children 18 and younger, as well as, enrolled students with disabilities up to 21 years old with healthy, no cost summer meals.  The meals will be served Monday-Thursday at Krause Elementary School, June 5 through July 27.  They are going to have breakfast available from 7am-8am, and lunch from noon-1pm.  To find a meal site anywhere across the state of Texas, families can call 2-1-1 and speak to a live operator, visit their website at www.SummerFood.org, or Text FOOD to 304-304. 

Monday June 5
Breakfast:  cinnamon toast crunch cereal, mixed fruit cup, fresh orange
Lunch:  cheeseburger, fresh sandwich trimmings, refried beans, tater tots, strawberry cup, fresh apple
Tuesday June 6
Breakfast:  sausage & egg biscuit, orange juice, fresh apple, grape jelly
Lunch:  pepperoni pizza, green beans, marinara sauce, pear cup, fresh orange
Wednesday June 7
Breakfast:  French toast, pear cup, fresh strawberries, syrup
Lunch:  popcorn chicken smackers w/roll, fresh cucumber slices, mashed potatoes, strawberry cup, fresh watermelon
Thursday June 8
Breakfast:  sausage & egg breakfast taco, dried cranberries, fresh orange, picante sauce
Lunch:  black forest ham & cheese sandwich, cool ranch Doritos, fresh baby carrots, sandwich trimmings, applesauce, fresh strawberries
