FORMER BRENHAM FOOTBALL PLAYER SQUATS 700 LBS IN WORKOUTS
A former Brenham football player is making waves in Austin, after impressing in pre-season workouts.
Brenham High School graduate Marqez Bimage can be seen in a video on various social media sites, squatting 700 lbs while being cheered on by his Texas Longhorn teammates. You can watch the video here.
Bimage is currently a sophomore at the University of Texas, majoring in Corporate Communication. The outside linebacker played 12 games in 2017, accumulating three tackles.
He committed to Texas on January 6, 2017, ranked by 24/7 Sports as the 73rd best prospect across the state of Texas. He also received scholarship offers from schools like Houston, Baylor, Cal, Kansas State, and LSU.
The Texas Longhorns open up their season on Saturday, September 1st, against the University of Maryland. The game can be watched on FS1.
