“HOT NIGHTS, COOL TUNES” CONTINUES WITH “ROCK-A-FELLAS”

The “Hot Nights, Cool Tunes” summer concert series rolls right along, and this weekend’s show will have a band capable of playing a wide variety of genres.

This Saturday, “The Rock-A-Fellas” will make a stop in downtown Brenham.  The band, based in Austin and Bryan-College Station, is known for its high-energy shows featuring rock, country, Motown, disco, blues, classics, retro, and anything from the 50’s and beyond.

Community Services Specialist Crystal Locke says the annual concert series is great for both the regulars and visitors to downtown.

“The Rock-A-Fellas” are sponsored by Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union, Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative, Baylor Scott and White Health, and Strand Associates, Inc.

All of this month’s concerts start at 7 p.m. every Saturday on the courthouse square in downtown.  KTEX-106’s Trail Boss Troy will be there to introduce “The Rock-A-Fellas” as they take the stage.
