VIDEO – 2018 BRENHAM HOMECOMING PARADE

  

Downtown Brenham was packed Wednesday night, as crowds gathered to watch 2018’s Homecoming Parade.

A whopping 88 entries made their way down Main and Alamo Streets, waving and tossing candy the whole way.

Each of this year’s Homecoming King and Queen nominees rode down the streets in trucks, convertibles, and even a dune buggy.  This year’s theme was “Lights, Camera, Cubs”, so there were plenty of floats centered around classic movies and fan-favorite television shows.

KWHI will have broadcast tomorrow’s (Friday) night’s Homecoming game against East View, with pregame coverage starting at 7 p.m. and kickoff at 7:30 p.m.  The Homecoming Queen will be announced at halftime, with the Homecoming King crowning at the dance following the game.
