BHS TEACHER WINS V.F.W. TEACHER OF THE YEAR AWARD

Brenham High School teacher Chris Kenjura has been honored with the Smart/Maher VFW National CItizenship Education Teacher of the Year Award.

Kenjura has been with Brenham ISD for nine years and has spent the last three years as a CTE teacher at Brenham High School teaching Sports and Entertainment Marketing and Virtual Business.

This award seeks to recognize America’s best educators who instill a sense of national pride in students, and annually recognizes the nation’s top classroom teachers who teach citizenship education topics regularly and promote America’s history and traditions effectively.

  2. Omg yayyy!!!! One of the best teachers I ever had , he taught me so much more then just what I needed to know for a test , he taught me life skills and what I needed to know after I passed the test and graduated, I probably learned more in his class then I ever did in those 4 years of high school , we are so proud of you kenjura keep it up cause you impacted my life so much and I know you will in the future lives of many kids. Who where just like me ! ?????????????? Big round of applause for you !!!
