CONTEST WINNER GIFTS MICHAEL MARTIN MURPHEY GUITAR TO GRANDSON
While Michael Martin Murphey delighted audiences this past Saturday with his Cowboy Christmas Concert, the show was particularly special for one young concert-goer.
Brenham resident Peggy Draehn won an autographed Michael Martin Murphey guitar earlier in the week from a KTEX106.1 giveaway. Draehn knew right away that the guitar would go to her grandson, Dawson.
Dawson received the guitar during the concert on Saturday, getting the chance to play up on stage with Michael Martin Murphey himself. The guitar is signed and has lyrics to the hit song, “Wildfire” written on it.
Murphey performed two sold-out concerts at the Historic Simon Theatre in downtown Brenham.

Michael is a great singer and I wish you would come to st. Augustine Amphitheater that would be awesome
My husband and I went to the concert along with my mother in law on Saturday night. The show was AWESOME !!!! The atmosphere was beautiful and he and his band put on a wonderful performance. It was a most enjoyable evening.
