FOUR BRENHAM FFA MEMBERS ATTENDING COW CALF CLINIC

  

Four Brenham FFA members are attending the 46th annual South Central Texas Cow-Calf Clinic at the Washington County Fairgrounds today (Friday).  The Clinic is hosted by Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service. Attending the event from Brenham High School are Lane Boenker, Katie Buegler, Reid Bentke, and Allen Schwartz.

The event will allow the students to hear from researchers and cattle industry experts on topics that will help them become successful on future livestock operations. Some of the topics they will hear about included Path to the Plate, Understanding the Value of Calves, Forage for Added Pounds and Dollars on the Calf Crop, Vaccination Success, and Precondition/Backgrounding-Adding Value to Calves.
