‘FREQUENT OFFENDER’ DWI

  

Brenham police arrested what they termed ‘a frequent offender’ for driving while intoxicated Thursday night after officers observed some erratic driving.

Brenham police officer Seth Klem saw an older model pick up truck traveling in the 600 block of West Main at 10:38pm.  The driver crossed the centerline  and drove too close to the curb.  He finally stopped at South Saeger Street and was apparently so intoxicated he couldn’t get his seatbelt off to get out of the car.  The officer was finally able to get Ashaq Arias Essani out of the pickup and he failed a field sobriety test and was arrested.
