STORM CLAIMS LIFE OF TOMBALL WOMAN

  

A Tomball woman is dead after heavy storms sweep through the region early Wednesday morning.

Harris Co. Sheriff’s Deputies have confirmed that an elderly woman was killed area after a strong squall toppled trees damaging her home.

The Sheriff's Office has confirmed that a tree fell on the woman's home in the Willow Oaks mobile home subdivision.

There are reports that some residents in that subdivision had to be extricated from their homes after trees fell on their houses.

The area was under a Tornado Warning as the storms raced through the early morning hours.

Reports say at least five homes were damaged in that immediate area.
