WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS COURT TO DISCUSS OPEN AND CONCEALED CARRY

  

Washington County Commissioners Court will meet this morning at the Washington County Courthouse.

Commissioners Court will hold a workshop to discuss the new legislation related to open and concealed carry of handguns by handgun license holders at various Washington County facilities.

Also on the agenda for the meeting, will be discussion possible approval of an Agreement between the County and Chappell Hill Volunteer Fire Department to furnish space for a duty station for a community paramedic.

Other topics for today's meeting include: the acceptance of the 2014-2015 financial audit, the appointment of a County representative, and granting Justice of the Peace, Precinct 1, the authority to purchase a computer and monitor with funds from the JP Technology Fund.

The commissioners will meet this morning at 9am at the courthouse.
