ST. PAUL CHRISTIAN DAY SCHOOL PRESENTS SLEEPING BEAUTY
St. Paul Christian Day School will be presenting their musical version of Sleeping Beauty on Tuesday.
Prince Phillip is being played by Zane Aschenbeck, Malificent by ReNee DeVoke, and Sleeping Beauty will be portrayed by Waylon Bulcao. Each student had to audition by sing a Disney song.
The three leads in the play said they have practiced a lot and have had a lot of help from family.
They also gave advice for those that have stage fright. Bulcao says to beat stage fright you need to practice every day in the mirror, DeVoke says you need to show off what you can do and Aschenbeck says to just be yourself.
The students are having their first dress rehearsal tonight (Friday) and will present their musical to the public at 7:00pm Tuesday evening at the Blinn O’Donnell Center.
