BRENHAM FIRE RESPONDS TO FIRE AT MAURICES

  

The Brenham Fire Department was called around 5:45pm to Maurices in the Dollar Tree Shopping Center on Sunday for a smoke investigation.

Once they arrived, they discovered the bathroom had a small fire, caused by an electrical issue with an exhaust fan.

While there was some damage to stored mannequins, no merchandise or employees were harmed, and the store was in the process of closing at the time of the small fire.

The fire was put out, and is still under investigation.
