Incumbent Misty Lucherk received 427 votes, while Dean Fuchs received 426 and Donna Boehnemann Putnam received 341. Sue Pinkerton received 236 votes, Ricky Ripple received 179, and Boris Jumper, Sr. received 86.

Unofficial results indicate 17,524 voters cast ballots in the election, 12,909 in early voting, 2,934 on Election Day, and 1,681 absentee.
According to County Clerk Beth Rothermel, considering there are 24,029 registered voters in the county, that is a 73 percent turnout. The results are considered unofficial until they are canvassed by the Commissioners Court.
