20-year-old Brandon Hutchison of La Grange, 24-year-old Blaine McCoy of La Grange, 35-year-old Patrick Machala of Plum and 32-year-old Cody Polasek of West Point were indicted last month and recently arrested for Criminal Mischief.

The charges stem from an incident at the Frisch Auf! Valley Country Club on May 25th, where two vehicles drove through two holes on the golf course, ran over several street signs and a mailbox, and hit a tree on a separate property.  According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, the estimated damages were around $15,000.

Investigation led to the discovery of the two vehicles suspected of causing the damages: a 2006 Ford Mustang and a 2017 Chevrolet pickup truck.  The Sheriff’s Office believes the suspects went to the golf course after leaving a local bar earlier that night.

Detective Marc Bennett led investigation of the case, with assistance from the Sheriff’s Office Undercover Narcotics Unit, Sergeant Angela Lala, Detective Kenn Kretz and Sergeant Ron Naumann.

  1. Parents must be so proud of their sons.
Make them buy the tools to repair the damage the correct way with Sheriffs department by their side then lock them up and throw away the key!! Ridiculous that these grown men do this!!

  2. I think that in addition to jail time, these men should be required to pick up tools and repair the damage they did. Maybe hard work would teach them not to do such stupid things.
