The third musical act of downtown Brenham’s “Hot Nights, Cool Tunes” on Saturday had people boogying all night long.

The Brown Sugar Band performed its signature blend of Motown, R&B, old school rock ‘n roll and today’s hits to keep crowds moving and grooving.

The Stray Katz Car Club hosted its popular classic car cruise-in at the west end of Alamo Street, while local businesses and vendors served food and drinks for everyone to enjoy.

Saturday’s concert was presented by Citizens State Bank, Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative, Woodson Lumber Company, Legacy Concrete Works and Legacy Waste Services.

The final concert of the season on Saturday, July 30th will be the classic MTV tribute band out of Houston, The Spicolis, featuring the music of the ‘80s.  That will be sponsored by Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union, Brannon Industrial Group, Ant Street Inn and Strand Associates.
