FOOD FOR FAMILIES FOOD DRIVE DEC. 7

  

Washington County is again partnering with area counties to help those in need during the KBTX Food for Families Food Drive.

The 27^th annual event is scheduled for Wednesday, December 7^th from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. at seven donation sites, including the Washington County Expo in Brenham.

Non-perishable food and monetary donations will be collected in support of the Brazos Valley Food Bank.  Suggested items include canned meats and vegetables, spaghetti sauce, pasta, soups, cereal, chili, peanut butter and rice.

Other places to donate include the MidSouth Electric Co-op operations facility in Navasota, St. Mary’s Lady of the Lourdes Catholic Church in Caldwell, the Brazos Center in Bryan, Son-Shine Outreach Center in Madisonville, the Hearne Railroad Depot in Hearne, and Pridgeon Community Center in Franklin.

Contributions will stay in the county they are collected in.
