BLINN NAMES 2,207 STUDENTS TO SPRING 2023 CHANCELLOR’S, DEANS’ SCHOLARS LISTS

  

The Blinn College District has named 2,207 students to its academic honors lists for the spring 2023 semester.

Blinn named 1,091 students to its Chancellor’s Scholars List and 1,116 to the Deans’ Scholars List. To be named a Chancellor’s Scholar, students must earn a 3.75 GPA, complete at least 12 credit hours, and pass all their courses. Students must attain a 3.25 GPA, complete at least 12 credit hours, and pass all their courses to earn Deans’ Scholar recognition.

“Blinn is honored to congratulate these students for their exceptional academic performance,” said Dr. Mary Hensley, Chancellor of the Blinn College District. “I also would like to thank the faculty and staff whose expertise, mentorship, and guidance has supported these students throughout their educational journey.”

Blinn’s honorees came from across the State of Texas and beyond, including Alaska, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.

Blinn honors students also hail from across the globe, including Angola, Argentina, Belize, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, England, Guatemala, Honduras, Indonesia, Macedonia, the Netherlands, Poland, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Tanzania, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela.
