SHELBY VFD TO HOLD 65TH ANNUAL FUNDRAISER
The Shelby Volunteer Fire Department is holding their 65th Annual Fundraiser this Sunday.
They will be selling barbecue beef and pork plates at Harmonie Hall in Shelby beginning at 11am and are going until they sell out.
The meals can be either dine-in or to-go with a cost of $15 per plate. They also will have barbecue available by the pound.
Other activities include a live auction, plus they are selling tickets to a drawing that will be held that afternoon.
Following the auction, there is going to be a free dance featuring music by the Crossroads Band.
Proceeds from the fundraiser go to help the Shelby Volunteer Fire Department purchase fire equipment, and provide necessary training to protect and serve the community.
