COMMUNITY SEND OFF FOR WASHINGTON COUNTY LITTLE LEAGUE TEAMS

There is going to be a community send-off for the three Washington County Little League Teams that are heading off to the State Tournaments this weekend.

The send-off is being held tonight (Thursday) at 8pm at Linda Anderson Park in Brenham.

They will be serving hot dogs and snow cones, plus selling Washington County caps for $5.

They are also having a Best Send-Off Poster Contest. The winner will get $50.

The public is invited to attend.

The Washington County Minor Girls Softball Team will open their State Tournament against Hallettsville in El Campo tomorrow (Friday) at 6pm. KWHI will have live coverage beginning at 5:30pm.

The Washington County 11 Year Old Boys Baseball Team will open their State Tournament against Lamar in Tyler on Saturday at 5pm. KWHI will have live coverage beginning at 4:30pm.

The Washington County Major Boys Baseball Team will open their State Tournament against Needville in Tyler on Saturday at 8pm. KWHI will have live coverage beginning at 7:30pm.
