BRENHAM’S SPARKS AND BURTON’S VELIZ NAMED TO ALL BRAZOS VALLEY TEAM

The Bryan-College Station Eagle newspaper has released the 2023 All Brazos Valley Team.

Brenham Cub OF Lane Sparks and Burton Panther C Vicente Veliz were named to the All Brazos Valley Second Team.

Sparks batted .365 in his senior season with the Cubs and was a first team All District Selection. Veliz batted .450 in his senior year with the Panthers, and was the District Defensive MVP.

Ryan Tennerton of A&M Consolidated was named as the Coach of the Year. The Mumford Mustangs were named as the Brazos Valley Team of the Year. Mumford P Damian Castorena was named as the Player of the Year.
