BRENHAM CUB FOOTBALL PRACTICES OFF TO A GOOD START

The Brenham Cub Varsity and Junior Varsity Teams began practices on Monday to get ready for the upcoming season.

The Freshman Team started last week.  Because they participated in Spring Football, the Varsity and JV were allowed to wait an extra week. 

The Varsity and JV report each morning at 5:30am and practice from 6-8am at Cub Stadium.

Coach Danny Youngs, who enters his second season at the helm of the Cubs, was happy to get the players back to work.

Later this week, the Cubs will be taking part in Midnight Madness for the second year in a row.  Coach Youngs gave some background on the event.

Players report to Cub Stadium at 11:30pm Friday night, and then the festivities begin Saturday at 12:01am. Later that morning, the teams are then going to participate in Media Day, which begins at 11:30am.
