CHAPPELL HILL TO HOLD ‘AIRING OF THE QUILTS’ SATURDAY
Chappell Hill will be full of beautiful quilt displays tomorrow (Saturday) during the Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce’s 4th Annual “Airing of the Quilts”.
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., visitors will be able to see dozens of quilts at local businesses, the Providence Baptist Church, the Chappell Hill Historical Society Museum, the Rock Store and the Masonic Lodge.
The event will have historic entries, barn quilts, children’s quilt activities and hourly presentations at the Masonic Lodge from Carol Ann Maurer of Cypress. Maurer is the author of “The Art of Quilting for Beginners and Beyond” and “The Art of Stained-Glass Quilting”, both of which received five stars on Amazon Books.
Admission and parking are both free. Businesses throughout Chappell Hill will be open for shopping and dining during the event.
