CUBETTES SET REGION QUARTERFINAL MATCH WITH MONTGOMERY

The Brenham Cubette Volleyball Team has set their Region Quarterfinal Playoff Match against their District 21-5A foe, Montgomery.

The match will be Tuesday at 7:30pm at Waller High School. KWHI will have live coverage beginning with the pregame at 7:10pm.

Brenham (35-13) is coming off sweeping Belton in the Bi-District round and McCallum in the Area Round.

Montgomery (31-17) went to five sets in both of their playoff matches. They beat Killeen Ellison in the Bi-District Round and Georgetown in the Area Round.

During district play, Brenham won both matches against Montgomery. The Cubettes swept the Lady Bears at home on September 22 by scores of 25-18, 26-24, and 25-20. They also won the match in Montgomery 25-19, 25-15, and 25-19.

The winner moves on to the Regional Tournament November 10-11 at the Merrell Center in Katy. The semifinals are Friday November 10, at 5pm, and the finals are Saturday, November 11, at noon.
