MULTI-AGENCY OPERATION IN GRIMES CO. LEADS TO ARREST OF TWO

  

Law enforcement agencies conducted an operation in Grimes County that resulted in the arrest of two women on several charges.

The Grimes County Sheriff’s Office reports that around 5 p.m. Tuesday, Grimes County Sheriff’s deputies and investigators, along with the Montgomery County Auto Theft Task Force, DPS agents and the Waller County Sheriff’s Office, executed search warrants on a property in Grimes County near the Waller County line.

Authorities recovered a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2014 Ranch King utility trailer, which were confirmed stolen.  They also recovered two other possibly stolen vehicles.

Investigators seized 26 grams of methamphetamine, as well as marijuana, hydrocodone, tramadol, suspected ecstasy pills, psychedelic mushrooms, suspected heroin and other narcotics.

In addition, they recovered multiple firearms, of which four had been reported as stolen.  Firearms with obliterated serial numbers and illegal suppressors were also recovered.

Brandi Leigh White and Melissa Marie Wagner were arrested without incident. 

White was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, a second degree felony, with additional charges pending.

Wagner was arrested on an outstanding Grimes County warrant, Failure to Appear/Motion to Adjudicate, and state jail felony-level Possession of a Controlled Substance.

The Grimes County Sheriff’s Office says investigation is ongoing.
