BRENHAM CUBETTES GO 1-2 ON DAY ONE OF WARRIOR SHOWCASE

The Brenham Cubettes won one and lost two at the Round Rock Westwood Warrior Showcase yesterday (Thursday). 

Brenham defeated Manor in the opener 2-0, (25-5 and 25-9). Kori Levi, Lainie Bolcerek, and Shelbey Cross each had four kills. Brinley Benson dished out 10 assists.

The Cubettes would then lose to Willis 2-1. Willis won the first set 25-22, Brenham won the second set 25-23, but then Willis won the final set 25-16.

In the final match of the day, New Braunfels defeated the Cubettes 2-0, (25-16 and 25-20.)

The showcase continues with more pool play today (Friday).  Brenham will face Leander Glenn at 1pm, Taylor at 3pm, and Cedar Ridge at 5pm.
