CALDWELL GETTING READY FOR 40TH ANNUAL KOLACHE FESTIVAL SEPT. 13
The 40th edition of the Kolache Festival is coming soon to downtown Caldwell.
Hosted by the Burleson County Chamber of Commerce, the festival will celebrate Czech culture and tradition on Saturday, September 13th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Opening ceremonies get underway at 9 a.m. and will include the crowning of the 2025 Miss Kolache Festival, along with performances by the SPJST Youth Beseda Dancers.
The day’s events will also have shopping at over 150 vendors on site, the Kolache Krunch 5K, kolache baking and eating contests, a quilt show, an antique machinery and tractor show, museum displays and demonstrations, a street car and classic car show, a kids’ zone, and live music throughout the day with groups such as the Czechaholics, the Moravians and the Shiner Hobo Band.
Admission to the festival is free. A ticketed pre-festival dinner and dance will be held on Friday, September 12th from 6 to 10 p.m., sponsored by the Czech Heritage Museum. Tickets can be purchased from museum members or the Burleson County Chamber of Commerce.
