GIDDINGS POLICE TO HOLD CITIZEN POLICE ACADEMY
The Giddings Police Department is now taking applications for their 2025 Citizen Police Academy.
The Citizen Police Academy is being held October 14th, 21st, and 28th, with the classes continuing on November 4th, and finishing up on November 12th.
The classes will be held on each of those nights from 6-8pm at the Giddings Police Station located at 179 East Industry Street.
The Citizen Police Academy gives local residents the chance to learn about the inner workings for the Giddings Police Department, and experience some of the split-second decisions that officers are faced with making.

Applications must be turned in by Friday, October 3rd.
