BFD RESPONDS TO TWO CALLS ON FRIDAY

  

The Brenham Fire Department responded to two calls on Friday.

Brenham Firefighters were dispatched to the first call, which came in just after 12:15pm.

The call was for a possible structure fire at 1710 Highway 290 West.

BFD units made the location and found that the air conditioning system was having an issue. The scene was turned over to the owner.

Then, just before midnight, the Brenham Fire Department and the Salem Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to a crash with possible entrapment.

Their units arrived at the location at 4584 Highway 36 South to find a single vehicle crash.

Firefighters from both departments provided traffic control, and once the roadway was cleared, they returned to service.
