BRENHAM POLICE ARREST TWO FOR MARIJUANA POSSESSION

  

Brenham police made two marijuana arrests between Tuesday and early this (Wednesday) morning.

At 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, Officer Mateo Guillen conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Highway 290 West for speeding.  After further investigation, the driver, 24-year-old Kayla Nicole Miller of Katy was taken into custody without incident for Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz. and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Around 1:15 a.m. today, Officer Brayten Rolling was conducting a check of one of the city parks in the 600 block of West Valverde Street when he observed a suspicious vehicle on location.  19-year-old Affion Dewayne Bryant of Houston was placed into custody for Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz. in a Drug Free Zone.  Bryant was taken to the Washington County Jail and booked in without incident.
