A&M CONSOLIDATED DEFEATS CUBETTE SOFTBALL IN DISTRICT PLAY 11-1
It was a rough night for the Brenham Cubette Softball Team as they lost to A&M Consolidated 11-1 in District 17-5A action on Friday.
The game started off on a good note. Laityn Davis led it off with a single, and she later scored on an RBI single by Kylie Baker to give the Cubettes a 1-0 lead.
After that, the game belonged to the Lady Tigers.
A&M Consolidated scored three runs in the first, one in the third, one in the fourth, and then finished it off with six runs in the bottom of the fifth to enforce the mercy rule.
Davis took the loss in the circle.
The Lady Tigers held the Cubettes to only five hits in the game, all of which were singles.
Next up, Brenham will get ready to face Lake Creek on the road this Tuesday at 5:30pm, 5:05pm pregame on KWHI.
