YMSL CELEBRATES ITS FIRST YEAR WITH A BANQUET

The Brenham chapter of the Young Men’s Service League (YMSL)  celebrating its inaugural year with an awards banquet honoring its members and their impact on the community.

Mothers and sons gathered for the special evening to recognize the accomplishments of the league’s first classes graduating in 2028 and 2029.

In its very first year, the Brenham chapter logged 1,991 service hours, supporting a wide range of local philanthropic organizations. Top philanthropy hours included 632 with Gather ‘n Grace, 276 with St. Peter’s Food Pantry, and 206 hours with the American Legion.

A standout moment of the evening was the recognition of 11 members who earned National Service Awards, an achievement that reflects exceptional commitment and hours served beyond expectations.

Service Award recipients included Luke Alford, Parker Flasowski, Ethan Gumbert, Cuatro Masser, Cooper Plagens, J.B. Schaer, and Michael Stringer. Outstanding Service Award winners included Maxwell Ray and Blake Crawford. Rounding out the awards were Austin Morisak and Garrett Hupe who both received the Superior Service Award.

Chapter leaders expressed gratitude for the support of families, philanthropies, and community partners who made the inaugural year a success.

The Brenham YMSL chapter looks forward to continuing its mission of developing young men into capable, compassionate leaders through service.

The chapter also said that they are proud to welcome the incoming Class of 2030 moms and young men, who they hope will carry their momentum forward and help build on an already strong foundation.
