WASHINGTON CO. COVID-19 CASES NOW AT 27; THREE HOSPITALIZED, THREE RECOVERIES

  

Three more positive cases of COVID-19 were confirmed Wednesday in Washington County, bringing the total confirmed case count to 27 and the active case count to 23.

After confirming two cases late Wednesday morning in a man and a woman, both in their 40s, Washington County EMS reported a third confirmed case Wednesday afternoon in a woman in her 50s.  All three are reported to be at home under self-quarantine.

Three patients remain hospitalized, and three others have recovered from the virus.  One patient, who was said to have multiple underlying medical conditions, died Friday.

At this point, all cases are believed to have been transmitted through community spread.
