LONGHORNS ROLL IN ALAMO BOWL BEHIND BACKUP QB

Sophomore backup Casey Thompson came off the bench to throw four touchdowns as #20 Texas beat Colorado, 55-23 in the Alamo Bowl, Tuesday night.

Thompson was pressed into action after starter Sam Ellinger left the game with a shoulder injury.

Freshman running back Bijan Robinson rushed for 183 yards and a touchdown, and was named Offensive MVP.

The Longhorns (7-3) are undefeated in four bowl games under head coach Tom Herman.
