CUBETTE SOCCER REMAINS UNBEATEN WITH A 2-1 WIN OVER WALLER
The Brenham Cubette Soccer Team improved to 5-0 on the season with a 2-1 win over the Waller Lady Bulldogs on Tuesday at Cub Stadium.
Due to the weather, the game was move up from a 7pm start to a 4pm game time.
Brenham scored the lone goal in the first half, and then both teams each scored a goal in the second half.
One goal came on a corner kick by Hiromi Gonzalez. The other goal was scored by Denali Washington off of an assist by Alayna Allen.
The Cubettes now get ready to take part in the I-10 Shootout hosted by Katy ISD. The tournament is scheduled to run Thursday-Saturday.
Brenham is in the Paetow High School bracket. Weather permitting, they are scheduled to play Fort Bend Austin at 2pm.
