WASHINGTON CO. FAIR ELECTS 2025-26 PRESIDENT, VP, BOARD CHAIR
The Washington County Fair Association has elected new leadership for 2025-26.
Ricky Bosse was elected as president of the fair. Cabin Warmke was selected as vice president, and Michael Bentke will serve as chairman of the board.
Bosse is the owner of Korth & Linke Welding LLC and has been involved with the Washington County Fair for many years, from showing lambs, turkeys, colts and Brahman heifers to serving as a volunteer. Bosse was a member of the junior beef committee and later the commercial heifer committee, where he served as a co-chairman for almost 20 years.
Bosse serves on the Advisory Board for Brenham National Bank, and is a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Ricky and his wife, Melisa, have one daughter, Deanna (Clay), and two granddaughters, Allie and Emma.
Warmke is the co-owner of Brenham Technical Services and has volunteered at the fair for 32 years. He has served on the poultry committee, co-chaired the livestock judging contest committee and served as the superintendent for barrows, carcass hogs, lambs, goats, poultry and rabbits.
Cabin and his wife, Missie, have three children, Payton (Brooke), Caden (Daylon) and Hanna, and one grandchild, Tate.
Bentke is the executive vice president and chief lending officer at Citizens State Bank. He has volunteered at the fair since 2000, including service as the chairman for the commercial heifer committee for 13 years prior to being elected in board leadership. He was vice president of the fair in 2021-22 and president in 2023-24.
Michael and his wife, Allison, have two sons, Shane and Reid.
